History of AION Adapter Strides

Overview

AION Adapter Strides is a Legendary legs piece (Leg Armor) for the Hunter Guardian class, part of the AION Adapter armor set from The Edge of Fate. The set bonuses are Force Absorption (2 pieces: final blows with a Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher or micro-missile temporarily reduce incoming area-of-effect damage) and Reactive Shock (4 pieces: while Force Absorption is active, taking melee damage emits a disorienting burst once). Pieces are part of the Kepler armor line named for the AION Initiative; the flavor text follows the exiled Fallen Azeryks and his dealings with Archon Levaszk.

Acquisition

Listed in game as dropping from "Exploring Kepler", i.e. activities on Kepler. Destinypedia lists the set under a Kepler vendor and a fan database (We Want Destiny 3) describes it only as "from Exploring Kepler", so the exact source is not confirmed. Armor pieces can be dismantled and re-rolled like other current armor; sources do not mention it being craftable. Check in game for current availability, as Kepler loot pools may change with later updates.
