Overview

This is chapter 3 of 13 in The Liar, a lore book added in Season of the Worthy that tells the story of Felwinter as a wanderer, Warlord and Iron Lord. The triumph has no in-game description; it is a lore record.

How to unlock

1. Obtain the Exotic shotgun Felwinter's Lie (the Season of the Worthy quest "The Lie": complete Seraph Tower public events, scan scrap piles in "A Warmind's Secrets", earn shotgun kills, then visit the Lunar Seraph Bunker).
2. Get kills with Felwinter's Lie. Lore entries unlock as you accumulate kills, in chapter order; the sources I could open do not give exact per-chapter kill counts.
3. Open the book from the Triumphs/Lore tab to read this entry.

Chapter summary

After roughly six months of constant flight, Felwinter learns hard survival lessons. Sheltering in a barn, he names his Ghost Felspring, and the two begin to act as teammates rather than strangers.
