(Heroic) Reversing the Polarity

Overview

(Heroic) Reversing the Polarity is the Heroic version of the Adventure Reversing the Polarity on European Dead Zone. Test Ikora Rey's theory in the Gulch by turning Red Legion power cores against their own artillery that threatens The Farm.

Heroic Adventures were a Year 1 feature: each week the destination of the active Flashpoint had its Adventures flagged as Heroic, in the rotation European Dead Zone, Nessus, Tangled Shore, Io, Mercury, Titan, Mars (per player reports). They are launched from the destination map, or from the NPC who offers the Adventure (Ikora Rey). The game lists them at a nominal 750 Power; the standard Adventure recommendation is +160 Power listed, and the game data does not state a separate Heroic difficulty. Players describe them as only modestly harder than the normal version. Heroic completions count towards the Wayfarer seal triumphs. Sources disagree or are sparse on Heroic-specific rewards; none are documented beyond the normal Adventure's.

Encounters and mechanics

1. Reach Firebase Hades and find the access point to the Red Legion weapon.
2. Extract a power core from a disabled Goliath Tank and expose the weapon's cores.
3. Install the cores in the artillery mechanisms to cause an overload.
