History of Zulmak

Zulmak, Instrument of Torment, is the final boss of the Pit of Heresy dungeon on the Moon.

Encounter

In the final fight, players clear the adds and damage Zulmak. Suggested options include Xenophage, One Thousand Voices or any heavy weapon, and a Warlock with the middle tree Dawnblade can place a Well under him. Destroy the Cursed Thrall as soon as it spawns, and leave the circle when Zulmak charges a flame attack.

Acquisition

The Xenophage Exotic Catalyst is a random drop from Zulmak, with no vendor or Monument source. Shacknews reports a small chance of it dropping on each kill. Players can wipe at the final encounter to set a checkpoint for the week, and there does not appear to be a character weekly lockout.
