Overview
Zenith is the fifth and final encounter of the Salvation's Edge raid in The Final Shape, a fight against The Witness in one large chamber split into left and right sides around a central platform. It follows the Repository and Verity encounters (per Shacknews).
Mechanics
- Glyphbreaker phase: two runners get a Resonance buff from one of the Witness' hand attacks, shoot the bracelet on that hand (its colour shows which Resonance is needed next), collect that Resonance and shoot the bracelet again to gain Glyphbreaker. They then shoot one of the six glyphs ("buttons") on the Witness from the central platform. Destructoid names the Resonances Spherical, Pyramidal and Hexahedron.
- Test phase: between the first and last glyph the Witness creates a sheet of Cruxes; the team shoots away the excess so the rest form the shape matching the most recently used arm.
- Damage phase: once all six glyphs break, the Witness is exposed for damage; Destructoid describes up to three damage phases before the team is wiped.
- The team has six revives in total, and add clear matters throughout (Destructoid recommends Still Hunt with Celestial Nighthawk, plus machine guns for adds).
Sources differ slightly in names for the mechanics (bracelets/buttons/glyphs); the sequence above is common to both.
