History of Young Ahamkara's Spine

Young Ahamkara's Spine is an Exotic Hunter gauntlet piece made from the remains of an Ahamkara. It appeared in the original Destiny (sold by Xûr for 13 Strange Coins) and returned in Destiny 2.

Overview

Its Destiny 2 perk, Wish-Dragon Teeth, increases Tripmine Grenade duration and blast radius, and ability damage grants Tripmine grenade energy. One older source (PowerPyx) lists different wording, including marking enemies, so perk text has changed over time.

Acquisition

• Part of the "Exalting the Flame" step in the Solar subclass quest, where you equip the newly acquired exotic with Solar.
• Exotic engrams or extremely rare world drops; PowerPyx lists random drops from quests, heroic public events and PvE/PvP.
