History of Xenophage Catalyst

Overview

Xenophage Catalyst records completing the Xenophage catalyst added with Monument of Triumph in June 2026. Obtain the catalyst, defeat 400 targets with the Exotic Solar Machine Gun, and apply its upgrade.

How to complete

The catalyst can drop from Zulmak, Instrument of Torment, the final boss of Pit of Heresy on the Moon. Repeat the final encounter until it drops. Solo and flawless completion are unnecessary for the catalyst drop.

Once acquired, land 400 final blows with Xenophage. Use its explosive rounds on groups of weak enemies and replenish Heavy ammo between groups. Merely equipping the weapon does not advance the counter; use it to deliver the kills. Progress accumulates across activities.

Apply the completed catalyst in the weapon's inspection screen. It grants Chain Reaction, causing elemental explosions on final blows, and Rampage, a stacking damage bonus from kills.
