Witherhoard is an Exotic Kinetic Grenade Launcher using special ammo, introduced in Season of Arrivals (Season 11).

Overview

Intrinsic perks Primeval's Torment (projectiles blight targets on impact) and Break the Bank (blighted targets take damage over time and spread blight on death). Good for area control and add clear.

Acquisition

• Exotic Archive at the Tower (game data).
• Monument to Lost Lights (Blueberries): needs Shadowkeep, an Exotic Cipher, an Ascendant Shard and 100,000 Glimmer.

Catalyst

Start "The Bank Job" with Banshee-44: 50 Vault Keys from kills with a Kinetic or Special Grenade Launcher, then "Crime Spree" (100 Guardian kills, 200 multi kills, Filthy Lucre from Strikes, Crucible and Gambit). Perk: Silent Alarm (+40 Handling, auto-reload when holstered); 400 kills to masterwork.
