History of Will of the Thousands

Overview

Will of the Thousands is the fifth and final campaign mission of Warmind and later a Strike, in Hellas Basin on Mars. The objective is to defeat Xol before everything is destroyed. Story power was 340; the story version follows "Strange Terrain" and precedes "Last Call".

Encounters

1. Hive of the Grasp of Nokris (Acolytes, Knights, Cursed Thralls, Wizards).
2. Mini-boss Sulhava, Vassal to Xol (story): kill adds, wield a Valkyrie to destroy her core. Strike version uses Thûl, the Monstrous.
3. Xol: shoot into the yellow circle in his mouth, grab the Valkyrie mid-fight, clear adds, and repeat. Players overload Rasputin's core to power it.

Strike variant included the Lumina questline's Hive crystals shot with Rose. Sources disagree on some strike details.
