History of Widow's Silk

Widow's Silk is a Strand aspect for the Threadrunner subclass, which is available only to Hunters. It grants an extra grenade charge, and the Hunter's Grapple leaves a Grapple Tangle at each grapple point. Tangles can be used by the whole fireteam, and using one does not consume grapple energy.

Grappling to a Tangle recharges grenade energy, which is why the aspect is linked to the "infinite Strand Grapple" technique: grapple to a point, jump while the grapple recharges, then grapple to the next Tangle. Equipping the aspect unlocks two Strand Fragment slots, and the wiki lists Thread of Ascent and Thread of Generation as its fragment synergies.

The aspect is bought at the Pouka Pond in Neomuna with Strand Meditations. The wiki categorises it under Season 20.
