History of Whirling Maelstrom

Whirling Maelstrom is a Hunter Threadrunner Strand Aspect. Destroying a Tangle weaves a violent, writhing mass of Strand fibers that seeks out and damages nearby targets. When that mass defeats a target, it emits Unraveling projectiles. Equipping the Aspect unlocks two Strand fragment slots.

Acquisition

The Aspect is obtained from the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes on Neptune, after completing the Unveiled quest. Completing the Lightfall campaign is also needed. Once one character has the Aspect, characters of other classes can receive it from the pond.
