History of Whetstone

Overview

Whetstone is an encounter in the seasonal Deep Dive activity during Season of the Deep. It is the last step in the quest for the Wicked Implement scout rifle.

Encounter

Players complete the first two Deep Dive encounters, then find an open door in the second room. Behind it, three Hive statues must be activated by fireteam members to lower a barrier. The encounter is timed, with 10 minutes to defeat the Tormentor Omen, and the Broken Blades are used in the process.
