History of Weapon Attunement

Weapon attunement is a reward-selection system that raises the chance of receiving a selected weapon from specified activity rewards. As of the June 9, 2026 Update 9.7.0, Attune Anywhere lets players select one weapon per category for each listed activity and freely change their choices. Bungie says the selected weapons have significantly higher drop chances from that activity’s rewards. This implementation is patch-dependent; eligible activities and rules can change with later updates.
