History of Weapon Attunement

Weapon attunement is a reward-selection system that raises the chance of receiving a selected weapon from specified activity rewards. Bungie reintroduced BRAVE Arsenal attunement for Onslaught in Update 8.0.5 (August 2024): players selected one BRAVE weapon through Zavala, raising its Onslaught drop chance by 60%. In Update 9.7.0 (June 2026), the broader Attune Anywhere menu allowed players to select one weapon per category for each listed activity and freely change selections; the selected weapons had significantly higher drop chances from that activity’s rewards. These are dated implementations, and eligible activities or rules can change with later updates.
