Vorgeth, the Boundless Hunger is a Taken Ogre boss with the Ultra rank. It is the last boss before Dûl Incaru in The Shattered Throne dungeon, and it first appeared in Destiny 2: Forsaken. It tries to stop the Guardian from reaching Dûl Incaru and fails. It is one of the Taken stuck in Quria, the time loop caused by the Dreaming City's curse.
Encounter
Vorgeth arrives with many adds and several Keepers of Petitions. Its immunity shield can only be cleared by defeating the Keepers. The first Keeper's relic applies the Petitioner's Mark debuff to all players for 45 seconds, and if it expires every participant dies, so the Keepers must fall within that window. Each kill stacks the mark up to four times. After the last Keeper dies, a player gets the petitioner's burden buff and deposits it into one of four plates around the arena. This breaks the shield and starts a timed damage phase, during which Vorgeth fires Axion Bolts. When the phase ends, its immunity returns and the cycle repeats.
Abilities
High durability, Taken Shield, Rotten Surge (Arc), Ground Slam (Kinetic), Axion Dart (Void), and Summon Taken.
