Voltaic Motes

Voltaic Motes are the resource used in the third phase of the Garden of Salvation raid, against the Consecrated Mind. One team collects them by defeating Minotaurs, each of which drops 5 motes that the player carries.

Motes are deposited into a lit relay. Each deposit grants the Enlightened buff and triggers a large Vex wave, so one player defends while the others go back to harvesting. Once a relay holds 30 motes it is overloaded, which draws the Consecrated Mind in and makes it vulnerable. The team then shoots the revealed red eyes and attacks the white spot in the boss's centre.

The suggested delivery split is 5, 10, 10 and 5 across three players, with the first player delivering twice. Guides differ on the exact split.

Voltaic Overflow

Voltaic Overflow is a debuff tied to the boss's wipe mechanic. It stops a Guardian from nullifying the white cube for a set time, so teammates alternate running through it. In the later phase, the affected Guardian is imprisoned and calls out which of the boss's eyes are lit, and the team must hit those eyes to survive.
