History of Visions of Gahlran

Overview

Visions of Gahlran, also called Shades of Gahlran, are Ultra-rank Nightmares in the first encounter of the Duality dungeon, the Nightmare of Gahlran. After a standard is planted in the waking world and a Guardian is pulled into a corridor by a bell's ringing, six Visions appear and attack on sight. They have little health and fall to a few melee strikes.

Role in the boss fight

Gahlran is only vulnerable once all the Visions on both sides have been killed. Killing them quickly keeps the damage phase open longer. When he is weakened, his defenses return and the cycle repeats.

History

The Visions first appeared in Season of the Haunted, with Duality released on May 24, 2022.
