History of Vision of the Future

Overview

Vision of the Future is a legacy Rite of the Nine triumph and a requirement for the ETERNAL seal. Earn a Gold encounter score in all three Prophecy encounters on Ultimatum difficulty. It awards 30 triumph score, with no separate item reward.

Original completion

Select Prophecy on Ultimatum during Rite of the Nine. Gold scoring rewards survival: finish each encounter with no more than one fireteam death. Avoid risky damage attempts when they would cost lives, clear dangerous enemies before carrying motes and coordinate revives.

• Phalanx Echo: collect and deposit the correct light and dark motes to cleanse the plates, keeping clear of the boss's shield blast and the arena edges.
• Hexahedron: cleanse the indicated plate to advance through the cube rooms. Clear ranged enemies before collecting and depositing motes, and stay together while rotating.
• Kell Echo: cleanse the three plates in the main room, then follow the boss through its damage corridor. Kill the snipers ahead and keep near the boss to avoid lethal Dark Entropy stacks.

Earn Gold in each encounter; an ordinary clear or an Eternity Gold score does not satisfy this difficulty-specific triumph. The original Rite of the Nine event ended on 15 July 2025 and this record moved to legacy triumphs.
