History of Vindication

Overview

Vindication is an Iron Banner medal in the Crucible medals category. Earn it by defeating three opponents in one life after suffering two consecutive defeats. It awards neither triumph score nor a separate item.

Completion

Play Iron Banner. After two consecutive deaths, survive your next life long enough to defeat three enemy Guardians. Keep close to teammates, use cover and retreat to recover health between engagements. Another death before the third defeat breaks that life’s streak; build a fresh qualifying sequence afterward. The medal counter records successful sequences, rather than a requirement to win the match.
