History of Vigilance Wing Catalyst

Overview

Vigilance Wing Catalyst is a Triumph that requires the player to defeat Guardians in the Crucible using the Vigilance Wing Exotic Grenade Launcher. The objective specifically mandates earning Blood for Blood medals by avenging fallen teammates. Completing the triumph involves inserting the Catalyst into the weapon, defeating 250 Crucible enemies, and securing five Blood for Blood medals.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must first obtain the Vigilance Wing Exotic Grenade Launcher. The weapon must be equipped in the Grenade Launcher slot during Crucible matches.

The primary requirement is to defeat 250 Guardians. These kills must be achieved while using the Vigilance Wing. Additionally, the player must earn five Blood for Blood medals. These medals are awarded when the player defeats a Guardian who has recently killed a teammate. The specific mechanic involves avenging fallen allies to trigger the medal.

Once the objectives are met, the player must insert the Vigilance Wing Catalyst into the Vigilance Wing to finalize the triumph. The catalyst insertion counts as one of the two required steps for the triumph completion, alongside the kill and medal requirements. No other specific activities, locations, or expansions are required beyond standard Crucible gameplay.
