History of Vex Altar

The Vex Altar is a circular Vex altar in Excavation Site VII on Nessus. It is reached by jumping off the final Stepping Stone, which lies just past the entrance from The Anchor and is guarded by Cabal. Westward of the altar are Vex-infested paths leading onward.

The altar is used with the Vex Cannon. At the Cabal Mining Base, two Vex cannons must be used to reach the next area of the strike. At the Drill Rig, a Vex cannon must be brought into position while the team holds the area, and using it carries players to Vex Gorge.
