History of Vengeful Corruption

Overview

The Hex of Vengeful Corruption is a lethal debuff in the final encounter of Warlord's Ruin, against the Blighted Chimaera (Hefnd's Vengeance). Guardians receive it when they begin cleansing the corrupted totems. It kills them if its 17-second timer reaches zero.

Removing the debuff

Melee a Corrupted Hex-Drinker to transfer the Hex onto it. Hex-Drinkers are immune Wraith variants of the Fallen first seen in Season of the Wish, and they appear shortly after the debuff is applied. If the Hex-Drinker melees the Guardian back, the Hex transfers back onto the Guardian.
