History of Veil Containment

Overview

Veil Containment is an Ishtar Collective research facility in the Esi Terminal of Neomuna on Neptune, housing the paracausal entity known as The Veil. It is the setting of the final mission of Lightfall, in which the Guardian faces Emperor Calus, with Shadow Legion and Dread enemies present. It also appears in later seasons and episodes.

Lore

The Veil is described as a Paracausal power source for Neomuna aligned with the Darkness and as the antithesis of the Traveler. The Witness used it to create a portal at the end of Lightfall. Savathûn concealed it on Neptune and Rasputin revealed its existence in Season of the Seraph.
