History of Ursa Furiosa

Ursa Furiosa are Exotic Titan gauntlets introduced with Destiny 2: Forsaken in 2018.

Overview

Ursine Guard increases movement speed while guarding with Sentinel Shield or Unbreakable. Sentinel Shield damage blocked converts to Super energy; damage blocked with Unbreakable converts to grenade energy. In Update 9.5.0 (December 2, 2025), Bungie corrected the overshield interaction and removed enemy-difficulty scaling from stored Super energy; at-power activities now fill the refund meter twice as quickly. The previous claim of a fixed 50% refund is not stated by these current sources.

Acquisition

Bungie’s July 15, 2025 Update 9.0.0.1 made Novel Focusing for Exotic armor from past expansions available immediately, without a Rahool rank reset.
