History of Ungoloth

Overview

Ungoloth, Wayward Beast is a Taken Ogre champion of Ultra rank. It is one of the rotating bosses in Riven's Lair and The Coil. It first appeared in Season of the Wish.

Tautology

Ungoloth is the boss of the Tautology mission. It has an immunity shield that must be broken by killing the three Wardweavers first. Players receive the Pervading Darkness debuff, which damages them over time. Stepping on pools of Light cleanses it, but the debuff returns. Killing Ungoloth completes the encounter.

Its listed abilities include Rotten Surge (Arc), Solar Mortar (Solar), Fist of Darkness (Kinetic), Teleportation and Summon Taken. Its design is shared with Gee'yom, Resonant Saboteur, but it is Taken.
