History of Underbelly

Overview

The Underbelly is the lower armory deck area of the Derelict Leviathan, used for the Season of the Haunted Sever missions such as Sever - Shame. There Crow and the Guardian work toward a Severance Site where Eris Morn performs a ritual to weaken Calus's link to the Pyramid.

Location and layout

Destinypedia says Sever - Shame shares its map layout with the following mission, Sever - Reconciliation, with different encounters, enemies and modifiers. GGRecon's walkthrough describes two main sections: an Armory Deck, where power shuts off after clearing enemies and manual override points must be restored (cloudy barriers need the Egregore Link buff from shooting flowers), and the Severance Site, reached by placing Ritual Amplifiers and passing a steam-vent chamber, ending at an arena called The Gauntlet with a Nightmare boss.

Activities

Objectives are placing Ritual Amplifiers, clearing the armory of Calus's Loyalists, restoring power, and performing the severance. Calus Bobblehead collectibles are hidden in several Underbelly areas.
