History of Ultimate : A+

Overview

Ultimate : A+ is a triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to complete an activity at Ultimate difficulty with a grade of A+ or higher.

How to complete

To obtain this triumph, the player must finish any eligible activity while it is set to Ultimate difficulty. Upon completion, the activity must be graded with an A+ score or above.

Practical steps and category

This is an Ops Activities objective for Guardian Ranks: 11, Paragon. Finish an eligible activity at Ultimate difficulty with A+ or higher as its final grade. Select a straightforward Solo Ops mission, complete its encounters and reach the activity-completion results.

Open Vanguard Ops through the Director, choose an eligible activity, and select Ultimate in its difficulty settings before launching. Build around survivability and reliable damage, meet the activity’s launch requirements, and finish the full run. The rank objective has no separate equipment reward; activity drops are awarded independently.

Since Monument of Triumph, the default Ultimate reward grade is S+, above the A+ threshold. Ultimate and Grandmaster both cap at Tier 5 activity loot; Ultimate increases the challenge rather than adding a sixth gear tier.
