History of Trostland

Overview

Trostland is a landing zone in the European Dead Zone on Earth. It is the central part of the ruined Golden Age town of Trostland, which extends into Maevic Square and the Outskirts. Most of the town is still standing, though it is crumbling. A section that overlooked a nearby dam collapsed into the river over the centuries since the Collapse. A church, where Devrim Kay has taken up residence, sits below the dam.

Location

Trostland connects to Atrium, Maevic Square, the Outskirts, Salt Mines, Terminus East, The Drain and Widow's Walk. It is a Public Sector with two patrol beacons.

Enemies and activities

Fallen, Cabal and Taken are present, along with the House of Dusk, Red Legion and Shadow Legion factions. The Lost Sectors are Atrium, Terminus East and Widow's Walk. The public event is Glimmer Extraction, and the adventures include Supply and Demand, A Frame Job and Calling Them Home.

Story

Trostland first appears in Destiny 2 and recurs in Season of the Hunt, Season of the Lost, Lightfall, Episode: Revenant and Reclamation. It is also mentioned in Season of the Drifter, Season of Defiance and Episode: Heresy.
