History of Trials and Tribulations

Overview

Trials and Tribulations is a lore book added in Season of the Worthy. It is unlocked through a triumph of the same name that grants one page per week to players who get a Trials of Osiris win that week (Destinypedia lists nine chapters).

Story

The book follows the founding of the Cult of Osiris and Brother Vance. Vance finds that the Lighthouse responds to Guardian deaths and uses the Trials to study it. Osiris and Mara Sov both warn him to stop, and the book ends with the Infinite Simulacrum and a vision of a shadow, implied to be the Darkness. Characters include Sister Faora, Sagira and the Redjack Ch3-5ka.
