History of Traveler's Chosen

Traveler's Chosen is an Exotic Kinetic Sidearm from Season of Arrivals, a 300 RPM semi-auto with a 15-round magazine and Primary ammo.

Overview

Its intrinsic "Gathering Light" grants Charged Light stacks on final blows (up to 10), boosting handling, reload speed and aim assist. Holding reload spends the stacks to restore melee, grenade and class ability energy.

Acquisition

• Originally the reward for the two-part Exodus: Evacuation questline (preceded by Exodus: Preparation) from Commander Zavala, which sent players to Io, Titan, Mercury and Mars; one step was the Heroic Unexpected Guests adventure. That quest is gone.
• Now it is bought from the Monument to Lost Lights, and the Exotic Archive at the Tower lists it as a source.

Catalyst

The catalyst drops randomly from playlist activities (Strikes, Crucible, Gambit) and needs 700 kills to unlock. It adds Osmosis (grenade use refills half the magazine and matches the weapon's element to your grenade) and Surplus (stat bonuses based on charged abilities available).
