History of Tractor Cannon Catalyst

Overview

Tractor Cannon Catalyst tracks the upgrade for Tractor Cannon, an Exotic Void power Shotgun. Its upgrade requires 300 enemies defeated with the weapon after obtaining the catalyst.

How to complete

Obtain Tractor Cannon and earn its catalyst as a random drop from defeating PvE enemies. Open the weapon details and insert the catalyst, then use the weapon to earn its 300 defeats. The displayed insertion counter represents the catalyst's upgrade state; it is not an instruction to acquire and insert two different catalysts.

Use a repeatable Lost Sector or another enemy-dense activity, and fire at low-health groups so the weapon gets final blows efficiently. Stock up on heavy ammunition before a farming run. Damaging an enemy to apply the weapon's debuff and finishing it with another weapon does not replace a Tractor Cannon final blow.

Once the kill objective is complete, apply the finished upgrade in the weapon's details screen.

Reward

The catalyst grants Deeper Pockets, increasing ammunition reserves, alongside its magazine upgrade. This catalyst record does not award Triumph score.
