History of Toxic Overload

Toxic Overload is an Exotic Trait perk from Season 16 that rolls only on the Osteo Striga. Landing a final blow or several precision hits triggers a burst that inflicts nearby targets with potent corruption.

The Osteo Striga comes from the Witch Queen campaign. Blueberries describes its poison spread and add-clear as strong in PvE, comparable to Huckleberry, and pairs it with Necrotic Grip, which spreads poison when poisoned enemies are defeated. Blueberries does not assess Toxic Overload on its own, and the weapon's PvP appeal is described mainly in terms of its tracking bullets.
