History of Tonic of Ether Clarification

Overview

The Tonic of Ether Clarification is a tonic that Eido finishes brewing in the final part of Kell's Fall to kill Fikrul. Eido used notes sent by Ixis, an Eliksni apothecary whom Fikrul had imprisoned, to make it.

Use against Fikrul

Eido loads the tonic into a Paracausal Injector and sends it to the Guardian. After Fikrul is weakened, the Guardian drives the injector into his chest. The tonic changes the polarity of his Ether, purging Darkness and filling his body with Light. This makes him mortal, so he can be permanently killed. Fikrul tries to pull the injector out, but the tonic kills him from within.
