History of Thresher

The Thresher is a Cabal aerial gunship. The Red Legion first fielded it during the Red War, when it fought Guardian Jumpships over Earth and the Last City. It later spread to other Cabal groups across the Sol System.

In Destiny 2 the Thresher appears in many Cabal activities, usually as an air threat. It strafes Guardians from above and covers ground forces with rapid-cannon bursts during its passes. Players are advised to take cover between strafing runs and attack with precision or heavy weapons when it slows to fire. In many Cabal encounters destroying it is optional.
