History of The Vow

Overview

The Vow is a Legendary Solar Combat Bow (energy slot) with a Lightweight Frame. It comes fully masterworked and has the set perks Rapid Hit (rapid precision hits temporarily increase stability and reload speed) and Archer's Tempo (draw time decreases after every precision hit), with Polymer String and Natural Fletching. Shacknews called it effective in both PvP and PvE for precision play.

Acquisition

A reward of Crimson Days, the Valentine's event of Destiny 2. Shacknews says it was sold by Lord Shaxx during the event for 100 Confectionary Hearts earned from Crucible match completions and bounties. Crimson Days returned in Destiny 2 in 2018 and had its final occurrence in February 2020 during Season of Dawn, so it is no longer obtainable unless the event returns. Destinypedia also describes the event's 2v2 Crimson Doubles mode and the "Crimson Bonds" quest from Shaxx.
