History of The Veil

Overview

The Veil is a paracausal artifact discovered on Neptune by an Ishtar Collective expedition. Chioma Esi’s research logs describe it as an electromagnetic anomaly with no measurable mass but a tangible surface; she and Maya Sundaresh studied its effects at Irkalla Complex on Neomuna. The logs characterize it as a web of consciousness, and its exact nature is still not fully understood.

The Veil is the power source for Neomuna and underlies its CloudArk infrastructure. It is also associated with Strand, and the Witness used it to establish a link with the Traveler.
