History of The Vanguard

Overview

The Vanguard is a New Light Triumph under Guardian Ranks' Ranking Up category. Complete A Guardian Rises, the introductory quest that teaches movement, combat, equipment, and activity progression.

How to complete

Track A Guardian Rises in the quest menu and follow its objectives through the Cosmodrome. Complete the opening mission and Schism, then return to Shaw Han whenever the quest requests it.

During the training objectives, purchase bounties from Shaw Han, defeat Fallen in The Divide, and loot the Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector chest. Continue through Cold Boot and Vendetta, finish the remaining quest objectives, and follow the introduction into the Tower. Complete the full quest to mark this triumph's objective; finishing only the opening mission does not finish the questline.

Rewards

Completing A Guardian Rises satisfies this Guardian Ranks objective.
