History of The Leviathan

Overview

The Leviathan is a chapter of Dust, the lore book introduced in Season of the Drifter. It follows Lavinia Garcia Umr Tawil and Paladin Kamala Rior investigating the Nine during an Awoken warship's close approach to the Leviathan. This record is the lore entry, rather than a raid-completion Triumph.

How to unlock

Originally, collect its golden lore relic in The Reckoning. Pass through the Drifter's portal into the area containing the bank. With the bank on your left, approach the large drop and walk onto the narrow beam. Turn back toward the bank; the relic is tucked beneath the nearby blocks. Jump carefully to the ledge and interact with the relic to unlock the chapter.

The original Reckoning acquisition route was removed with Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The chapter remains readable as archived lore.
