History of The Hellmouth

Overview

The Hellmouth is a The Final Shape quest from Micah-10 in the Pale Heart, part of The Final Days series. You hunt for Link, a Ghost of the covert Watchful Eye last seen on the Moon. The quest begins by visiting Micah-10 in the Lost City; the archived step transcript lists this visit before the Nightmare Hunt objective. The quest is associated with The Final Shape campaign; the currently available guide sources do not establish a separate prerequisite called “The Shadows.”

Walkthrough

1. Visit Micah-10 in the Lost City to receive Link's telemetry.
2. Run the Nightmare Hunt “Fear” on the Moon. Past the closed door in the no-revive section, scan the Ghost telemetry on the skull statue.
3. Go to the marked location under the surface: through the Temple of Crota, World Grave and Chamber of Night to a large cave with an Unstoppable Ogre. Link rests on giant rib bones on the right (the boss can be skipped).
4. Return to the Arbor of Light in the Lost City and restore the Ghost.
5. Return to Micah-10 to discuss next steps; this leads to The Oracle.
