History of The Grottos

Overview

The Grottos is a private area of the Cosmodrome on Earth, north of the Forgotten Shore in Old Russia. In Destiny it connects to the Forgotten Shore, the Refinery (through a large cave) and The Mine. A large sealed bunker door leads from the Grottos to The Mine, and it opens only during Strikes and Missions.

Destiny 2

The Grottos appeared in Season of the Chosen and returned in Season of the Seraph. There the House of Dusk are the enemy faction and the Fallen the hostile race. Destinypedia's Destiny 2 infobox lists only the Forgotten Shore and The Mine as connecting areas, so the Refinery link applies to the original game only.
