History of The Endless Gate

Overview

The Endless Gate is a private Sector in Echo Mesa on Io. It first appeared in Destiny 2. Its only connection is to The Rupture, through a tunnel at the northern end, which is the only way in and out.

Layout

The Sector has material nodes and one scannable object, but no chests or landing zone.

• Central Chamber: a circular room with a scannable object on a ledge at the north-west edge.
• Chasm Chamber: at the southern end, a large chasm crosses the room, with bottomless drops on the east and west sides. A single cluster of Vex may be present, or the room may be empty.

Destinypedia notes that a remade Endless Gate leads to The Festering Core in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.
