History of The Core Four

Overview

The Core Four is the Deep Stone Crypt final-encounter challenge Triumph for Taniks, the Abomination. It awards 10 Triumph score and contributes to Descendant.

How to complete

Break all four glowing thrusters during each nuclear-core sequence and collect all four nuclear cores. Assign four carriers, an Operator and a Suppressor. Deposit the cores into the four bins in the two arena sections where Taniks is not standing. The Operator frees detained carriers, while the Suppressor completes the drone sequence to unlock the bins.

Deliver all four cores in the same sequence before entering damage. Depositing only two and waiting for another core cycle fails the challenge. Repeat the four-core method before every additional damage phase, and defeat Taniks with the challenge satisfied.
