History of The Anomaly

Overview

The Anomaly is a The Crucible map set at Mare Cognitum on The Moon, around a research station designated K1. It first appeared in Destiny 1 and returned to Destiny 2 in Season of the Worthy.

Layout

Its defining feature is a rotating central platform. Narrow hallways favor shotguns and sidearms; the outer areas are long sightlines. Point B in the center is exposed to an elevated perch; heavy ammo spawns near points A and C. It suits Control, Skirmish and Rumble. Mayhem Rumble was reportedly removed from the map because of crashes from visual effects.
