History of Temporal Progeny

Overview

The Temporal Progeny are the boss enemies of the Season of the Wish finale, Closer to the Heart. They are summoned by the Black Heart when the Heart is attacked, and they fight in the Black Garden.

Members

The group is made up of three giant Minotaur-type Vex minds: the Established Mind, the Inevitable Mind and the Synchronal Mind. The mission objective asks players to defeat the giant Vex guarding the Black Heart.

Other enemies

The mission also features Vex enemies such as Goblins, Hobgoblins, Harpies and Wyverns, plus Taken Psions and Captains, and the Withdrawn Mind, a Vex force leader.

Notes

Destinypedia's Black Heart page calls the summoned vessels "Sol Progeny" instead, and reports that the Heart could not always summon all three at once. Player reports disagree on whether Minotaurs must be finished up close or from range for the mission to complete.
