History of Temple of Illyn

The Temple of Illyn is a location in the Dreaming City, in Rheasilvia, on the far side of the bridge leading to the Harbinger's Seclude. It is named after Illyn, the last coven mother of the Techeuns.

Overview

The temple is only accessible during the Corrupted strike, from the Forsaken expansion. Petra Venj tasks Guardians with finding and freeing Techeun Sedia from Taken influence inside the temple.

Location

The temple is reached from Rheasilvia. The strike's path begins outside the temple and leads into an Ascendant Plane, where a portal returns you to the physical temple.

The Corrupted

Sedia waits at a waypoint inside the temple, and you fight her to release her from the corruption. After she loses about a third of her health, she teleports away and must be chased through a portal. The strike continues through The Adytum to the Ascendant Realm for the final battle.
