History of Telesto Catalyst

Overview

Telesto Catalyst tracks the upgrade for Telesto, an Exotic Void Fusion Rifle. It requires obtaining and inserting the catalyst and defeating 300 combatants with the weapon. The insertion objective is a catalyst state, rather than a request for two separate catalyst drops.

Acquisition

Complete higher-difficulty Lost Sectors for a chance at the catalyst: this source was formerly called Legend/Master and now uses Expert/Master terminology. Its original Prestige Eater of Worlds source was removed.

How to complete

Insert the acquired catalyst on Telesto, then use its bolts and explosions to defeat 300 combatants. Aim at clustered enemies to make each special-ammunition shot count. The upgrade grants Deeper Pockets, increasing magazine capacity from four shots to seven and expanding reserves. It also has Harbinger Seethe: after three activations of Harbinger's Pulse, perform the special reload and land a direct hit to unleash additional projectiles.
