History of Tarnation

Overview

Tarnation is a Legendary Arc Grenade Launcher introduced in The Witch Queen expansion. Its flavor text reads: "Welcome to hell on Earth… delivered at 250 feet per second!"

Uses the Rapid-Fire Frame archetype in the heavy slot with heavy ammunition.

Acquisition

Complete The Wellspring: Defend when Vezuul, Lightflayer is the featured boss. The activity’s weapon rotation determines when this is the targeted reward. Its Weapon Pattern needs two Deepsight Resonance extractions.

Crafting and variants

Craftable after unlocking its Weapon Pattern with 2 Deepsight Resonance extractions. Shape the weapon at the Relic on Mars. It has no legacy sunsetting Power cap; those caps were removed with The Final Shape.

Notable traits

Envious Assassin builds an overfilled magazine from kills with other weapons. Bait and Switch increases damage after damaging targets with all three weapons. Origin traits include Psychohack.
