History of Taken Thrall

Taken Thrall are the cheapest melee swarmers of the Taken. They attack with Solar melee and usually charge in packs, relying on numbers. Each one can blink a short distance, which lets it close gaps and dodge incoming fire. They are weak and die to a few shots from most weapons, so area damage is the usual answer before they swarm.

Appearances

Taken Thrall debuted in Destiny: The Taken King and appear across Destiny 2. The variants include Shadow Thrall and Dire Thrall, which leaves a Defensive Ward when it dies. In The Whisper, a shadow thrall waits in the pit that leads to Oracle 4.
