History of Taken King (armor set)

Overview

The Taken King armor set is a Legendary armor set for Hunter, Titan and Warlock from Season of the Deep. Destinypedia lists its only source as the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, and the set is not a loot drop. Its pieces each pair an Oryx quote with story flavor text, and its bonuses center on Lucent Hive rituals.

Set bonuses

• The Ceremony (2-piece): finishing combatants or reviving allies starts a Lucent Hive ritual. While it is active, you gain increased Super stat.
• Lucent Swarm (4-piece): collecting Orbs of Power extends the Ceremony. While it is active, ability final blows occasionally spawn allied Arc moths.

Acquisition

Source: Ghosts of the Deep (Destinypedia). No vendor or other activity is listed. Light.gg entries also credit the dungeon and say the pieces were added in Season 21. Check the current dungeon rotation before farming.
