History of Taken Blight

Overview

A Taken Blight is a radiating substance of sterile neutrinos emitted by the Taken, appearing as dark crackling mist or floating spheres. Blights act as shield generators, area-denial zones and interdimensional portals or transmitters. Standing in the field applies the Shadow Touched debuff, restricting movement, sprinting and recovery abilities until the sphere is destroyed. They first appeared in The Taken King, the expansion of Oryx.
